Resist Chocolate Co.

Resist Chocolate is a sultry, women-run, fictional candy company. It is a standout for its unique flavours (such as Carrot Walnut, Quinoa and Raspberry Pepper, to name a few), and for its commitment to using natural ingredients. Due to chocolate’s cultural association with romance, I decided to select a jewel-tone colour palette that evokes that same air of romance, and also because those colours felt particularly feminine.

Delicate line art is very popular at the moment (particularly in the Vancouver area where this fictional company is based). So, I decided to incorporate that aesthetic into the chocolate bar designs with patterns based on the female form—a unique pattern for each flavour.

There are five main products; five chocolate bars. I also created a unique design for their double-chocolate bars (bars that are extra thick for those Resist Chocolate fanatics), which are sold in packages of three. Additionally, I created a unique design for their ice cream tubs that also consist of their unique assortment of chocolate flavours.
